This Week's COT Report unavailable due Govt Shutdown + COT Survey

We'll be back on it when the CFTC next updates the data

Our weekly Commitment of Traders report is unavailable this week due to the US government shutdown. Unfortunately, the CFTC is unable to provide the Commitment of Traders data due to the shutdown and lack of “appropriations”. We will update and release our reports as soon as the government shutdown has ended and the CFTC has updated their data.

The last time this happened was 2018 when the shutdown lasted about 35 days and the data was back-filled little by little each week until the releases got up to date. Hopefully, this will not be as long and the COT data will be back soon.
